About Me
My name is Conrad and I am an anglo-Irish artist and 2D animator based in the UK. I have a bachelor's degree in animation and have worked on numerous projects utilising my understanding of shape and linework.My practice is one that centers on people. Ruminating on my interactions and lessons from my community, I build characters and scenarios that explore my inner and outer space. Using these characters I'm keen to investigate how identity is found both in the embrace of connection as well as in its absence. My experience as a second generation immigrant and as a member of the queer community colouring my pursuit of this.In the presence of otherness I connect to fantasy: that which allows me to see beyond reality whilst being keenly routed in it. As such my works attempt to gain greater perspective on what I desire from the world.
